"Art is a timeless expression that bonds together the love and people of diversity."

Sean Lam is a Singaporean graphic novelist and fine artist. He first came into prominence with a 480-page single volume manga It Takes a Wizard, which was published in America. He also collaborated with Larry Niven, a science-fiction writer, to create a graphic novel adaption of his sci-fi novel 'Ringworld'. His graphic novels were also translated into several other languages which includes French, Spanish and Korean. Sean’s passion in art has earned him several awards over the years. He was awarded the International Angoulême Comic Artists Special Award for his graphic novel, 'Judith: Captive to Conqueror' in France.

“Manga is one of the most vibrant and dynamic ways of telling a story, which as a graphic novel, it paints a story in the most visually attractive perspective.

They bring all walks of life together, leading everyone to understand one another better in this world of diversity.” - Sean Lam

‘Sean x Knot Limited Postcard Collection’ consists of character designs which are loosely based on one of his manga story collections 'Moment For Love 愛の瞬間 ‘.

It was an early influence from one of Japan’s most popular 80s anime series 'Saint Seiya' that led him to develop an interest to learn about Zodiac Signs and Astrology. With his penchant for writing fantasy stories, Sean has weaved together the elements of astrology and time travel to illustrate a love story.

For the very first time, Sean and Japan Knot Watch has come together to introduce the Limited time collection series of the 12 Zodiac Characters and Artisan Watches featured monthly from end August 2020.
