Makita Shoten Traditional Shape Strap
A strap combining different
materials called umbrella fabric and Tochigi leather of vegetable tannin.
The dragonfly pattern is also adopted by Makita Shoten's original umbrella. In Yamanashi we often see motifs of dragonfly, but in reality dragonflies fly only towards the front so they are called "winning bugs", so Sengoku Commander, including Takeda Shingen, used inside armor There was history. A dragonfly motif symbolizing Yamanashi with a Makita shop is an icon representing the story of MUSUBU PROJECT this time.

Water repellent processing technology
Generally it is said that it is difficult to process fabrics with irregularities on the surface of fabric like jacquard weave. "Nitta adjustment" is to perform water repellent treatment on cloth woven at Makita shop. It is also a partner who started a joint business when Makita Shoten starts production of umbrella fabric 50 years ago. Two kinds of processing are applied to wash the dough, water repellent (to repel water), waterproof (to prevent flooding into the dough). A lot of water is also used here, and washing away fabric impurities by washing with Fuji's natural water.
Adoption of dragonfly pattern
Since dragonfly keeps flying forward and does not retreat, it has been used as an armor of Sengoku warlords, etc. as a lucky charm called "winning worm" from the past. A lot of motifs of dragonfly are left in Yamanashi from where weapons generals such as Takeda Shingen used to love. I adopted the dragonfly pattern which is also used in the umbrella of Makita shop even with Knot's strap.
